The fields

The complex also includes a smaller baseball diamond used by younger players, an all-dirt softball field (adjacent to Pine Hill Lane), and a batting cage. A permit from the Town is required to use Jameson Fields.

Parking
Parking for the baseball fields is available on Cemetery Lane, in the lot shared with the Sherborn Playground. For games on the softball field, parking on Pine Hill Lane provides easier access and a shorter walk to the field.
The Cemetery Lane lot is marked by a Ward J. Parks Recreation Area sign and is also used by people visiting the playground and skate park.

During the season
Jameson Fields is used throughout the spring, summer, and fall for youth baseball and softball practices, games, and tournaments. It is one of the town’s main gathering places during the season.
Game schedules and registration come from Dover-Sherborn Youth Baseball and Softball.
Sherborn Playground
The town’s public playground is right next to the Cemetery Lane lot, an easy stop before or after a game. See our Sherborn Playground page. Small Ward Parks Pond is right beside it.
